The 31st session of the World Heritage Committee was held during 23 June - 2 July 2007 in Christchurch, New Zealand. Approximately 600 participants and observers from the 183 States Parties to the World Heritage Convention had attended the ten-day meeting, including Tumu te Heuheu Paramount Chief of Tuwharetoa and Chairman of the World Heritage Committee and Mr Temba Wakashe, the former Chairman of the World Heritage Committee South Africa have been presented the meeting.
