The characteristics of wind power generation:

• 1.Renewable and clean power. Wine power is a kind of renewable and clean energy, which does not consume oil resources and is environmentally-friendly. This can not be matched by thermal power generation.
• 2.Short construction period. A 10 MW wine farm can be finished less than one year.
• 3.Flexible scale of installation capacity. Clients can choose the scale of installation capacity depending on counterpart funds.
• 4.High Reliability. It realizes higher reliability by using modern high technology into wine power generator. The reliability of medium and large wine generators increase to 98% from 50% in the 80s, higher than that of coal-fired power unit and have a 20 year lifetime.
• 5.Low cost. In terms of the wind farms built abroad, both the cost of per KW and the electricity price per KWH are lower than coal-fired power, that’s competitive compared with the conventional energy generation. In our country, middle-large size wind turbine generator sets all introducing from abroad, the construction cost and electricity price is relatively higher than coal-fired power, due to the above two reasons, the construction cost and electricity price are higher than coal-fired power, but as the large and medium-sized wind turbine realizing the localization and industrialization, wind power price will be lower than the cost of a thermal power in the near future.
• 6.Simple operation and maintenance. Modern wind generators are on high automation level, it can completely work without people, only need necessary maintenance on a regular basis.
• 7.Small occupied area. The architectures like generator sets, monitoring and substation accounted for only 1% of the land compared to thermal power farm, the rest of the site is still used for agriculture, animal husbandry and fishery.
• 8.The diversity of power generation. It is a grid-connected and independent wind farm, and also can be formed complementary systems with other energy, like solar power generation.  It is hoped to solve the electricity issue in rural areas
• 9.A small capacity of single wind turbine. Low wind energy density is main reason. Besides, wind conditions are instability, which is the practical problem.
